Hobson Seeking Unity In District 16

The Norman Transcript Longtime area legislator Cal Hobson stayed out of the this summer's primary and runoff contests waged by the men who sought to replace him. He had his own lieutenant governor's race to manage. Now, with the general election only weeks away, Sen. Hobson is working to elect John Sparks to the District 16 Senate seat. Sen. Hobson is trying to bring some unity to a race where the divisions run so deep many supporters of defeated runoff candidate Tim Emrich leave their yard signs up in protest.
