The Oklahoma Lottery Commission
announced today that sales are lagging behind projections. Instead of the 300 million dollars a year that Governor Henry campaigned on and promised in his 2003 State of the State address, the lottery will come up woefully short with revenues expected at 123 million dollars.
The plan for making up the shortfall seems to be new games and the hope for mega jackpots to spur ticket sales.
