Friday, June 23, 2006 Oklahoma Voters Favor Conservative Policies
The Muskogee Phoenix has a commentary written by Grant Gulibon of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs citing the results of a 2005/2006 preference poll. According to Gulibon, "The results were solidly (and in many cases, overwhelmingly) in favor of tried, tested, and successful conservative public policies". The respondents were asked their opinions on a variety of issues such as the size of state government, repealing the estate tax, faith-based initiatives, school funding and school choice.
